Wolborough house was built in 1910 by Charles Hellier, a wealthy fishing fleet owner who paid £48 thousand guineas at the time for building this wonderful period mansion. He employed only the finest craftsmen and used only the finest materials in this project which is still apparent today. The house has been lovingly and painstakingly maintained to a very high standard over the years thus retaining Wolborough’s unique character and charm.
